To help build up our Contaminated Site Remediation division, we are looking for an experienced and responsible
Pollutant Remediation Supervisor (f/m/d 100%)
You will take on responsibility at our construction sites and ensure that hazardous substance remediation work is carried out safely, efficiently, on schedule and to a high standard. As a supervisor, you will be the main point of contact on site, coordinating staff and ensuring that site operations run smoothly.
Your responsibilities
- Organisation and operational management of construction sites in the field of hazardous substance remediation
- Coordination and deployment planning for staff on site
- Professional execution and supervision of contaminant remediation works
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality regulations
- Monitoring the correct use of protective measures and personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Installation and monitoring of black/white zones and negative pressure systems
- Reporting on the work carried out and the progress of the building site
- Ordering materials and monitoring material consumption
- Point of contact for site managers, clients and external organisations on site
- Support with the induction and training of new staff
Your profile
- Completed training in accordance with EKAS guidelines in the field of asbestos removal
- Specialist in asbestos removal registered with SUVA in accordance with Article 84 of the Construction Ordinance (BauAV)
- Several years’ professional experience in the remediation of contaminated sites
- Experience as a team leader
- An independent, reliable and responsible approach to work
- Experience in drawing up zoning plans, air quality assessments and, ideally, work plans
- A Category B driving licence is essential
- Excellent written and spoken German
- Knowledge of French, English and Spanish would be an advantage
